Cowboys vs. Packers Game 2017: live stream: Time, TV schedule and Preview

With a spot in the NFC Championship Game on the line, the Green Bay Packers will head to Dallas to take the Cowboys on Sunday. Here is how to watch online.

Packers Game

The Green Bay Packers will head into Texas with one thing on their mind: get to the NFC Championship Game.

Getting there may prove to be tougher than orginially expected, as the team will be without star wide receiver Jordy Nelson for their Divisional Round matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Nelson was injured during the team’s blowout win against the New York Giants last Sunday, and should be available if the Packers get past the Cowboys this weekend.

For Dallas, they had the week off during the Wild Card Round, as they locked up the No. 1 seed in the NFC for this year’s playoffs. The NFC Championship will run through AT&T Stadium, which will play host to this battle of NFC juggernauts on Sunday.

The Cowboys have been led by the rookie tandem of quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott this season, and both will have to bring their “A” game if the Cowboys wish to stop a red-hot Green Bay Packers team.

It has been an incredible year for the Cowboys, who looked to be headed towards the cellar of the NFC East when Tony Romo broke his back during the preseason. However, Prescott played at a Pro Bowl level all season long, and when Romo was ready to return, he had not starting job to return to.

It is going to be interesting to see how Prescott handles the bright lights of playoff football, but if his regular season is any indication, it should be no problem for the fourth-round pick out of Mississippi State.

At one point, the Green Bay Packers were sitting at 4-6, and their star quarterback looked like a different player under center. Since that moment, the Packers have yet to lose, and locked up the NFC North division with a Week 17 win against the Detroit Lions. Aaron Rodgers shook off a rough start to the season to be a favorite to win the NFL MVP this season, and has his Packers playing the best football of any team in the conference heading into Sunday.

Here is how to watch all of the action online.

Date: Sunday, January 15
Start Time: 4:40 p.m. ET
Location: Arlington, Texas
Venue: AT&T Stadium
TV Info: FOX
Live Stream: Fox Sports Go

This one could go down to the wire, with the winner being the favorite to represent the NFC in Super Bowl 51. Being without Nelson is going to hurt for the Packers, who have proven to be a much different team without him in the lineup. Rodgers is going to find a way to get it done on Sunday, and if the Packers do pull off the road victory in Dallas, they will have plenty of momentum heading into the NFC Championship Game.

With the NFC North on the line, the Detroit Lions will host the Green Bay Packers Game in Week 17. Here’s how you can watch this NFL game online via live streaming.

The NFC North will be decided on Sunday Night Football in Week 17. Starting at 8:30 p.m. ET, the Green Bay Packers will visit the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. The winner will take home the NFC North division crown. Meanwhile, the loser will most likely find themselves out of a playoff spot, depending on how the Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers do.

Green Bay enters Week 17 on a hot streak, winning five straight games after going 4-6 in their first 10 games. They have rallied to tie the Lions for first place in the NFC North. Green Bay has done so thanks to the incredible arm of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He has been on fire as of late, with 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions during the winning streak. Rodgers has traditionally done quite well against Detroit. The Packers are hoping this trend continues.

On the other side of the field, the Lions enter Week 17 having lost their last two games. After having chances to assert themselves against the Giants and Cowboys, it all comes down to Week 17 for Detroit. Matthew Stafford has at times played like an MVP candidate this season. He will have to play like one against Rodgers in order for Detroit to make it to the postseason.

Whoever wins is going to have a lot of reasons to celebrate. The loser, however, will have a very long offseason, potentially one filled with changes. No matter who loses, their 2017 team could look a bit different than it does entering Week 17.

To kickoff the NFL Week 7 slate, the Green Bay Packers will host the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football. These are two of the oldest teams in the NFL and their rivalry is historic.

The 3-2 Packers come into this game off of a tough 30-16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The Packers simply do not look like the team that we are used to seeing, but they are still extremely talented.

Aaron Rodgers’ play this season leaves plenty to be desired. He simply does not look like the same guy who we have seen in the past. To me, it appears that Rodgers has lost a step over the past couple of years.

He used to buy ample time by moving in and out of the pocket with ease. Rodgers is not a slow quarterback now, but he does not move as well as he once did.

Rodgers also appears to be pressing a bit. He is a great NFL quarterback, but he does not have to be perfect all of the time. The sooner Rodgers realizes that, the better off he (and the Packers) will be.

Can he bounce back against the Bears this week? This Chicago defense does not possess a ton of natural talent, but they have been playing well in recent weeks. The Bears should put up a strong fight against Rodgers and company.

The 1-5 Bears enter this Thursday night matchup off of a disappointing 17-16 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Brian Hoyer has been playing pretty well for the Bears at quarterback in recent weeks, but he is league average at best.

Hoyer gives the Bears a better chance to win than Jay Cutler, but he is not the kind of guy who is going to lead them to the promise land.

However, in one game against the Packers’ exploitable secondary, I could see Hoyer having some success. Wide receiver Cameron Meredith has been great in recent weeks and Alshon Jeffery is always a major threat on the outside.

Will Rodgers get back on track against a division rival, or will Hoyer lead the Bears to an upset victory? Regardless this should be a fun and interesting matchup to see play out.

The Dallas Cowboys face the Green Bay Packers Game at Lambeau Field in NFL Week 6. Here’s all the info you need to watch online.

Location: Green Bay, WI
Stadium: Lambeau Field
TV Info: FOX

The Dallas Cowboys have lost their past five meetings against the Green Bay Packers, with four of those games being at Lambeau Field. However, this season the Cowboys are playing solid football, entering this game at 4-1.

They are led by two rookies who have become the talk of the NFL in quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott. Both are playing excellent football. It also helps that their offensive line is living up to the high expectations placed on them.

Packers Game

As for the Packers, they are 3-1, but haven’t played up to the caliber of football they’re used to. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers isn’t as consistent as he’s used to being and the running game hasn’t hit their stride, either.

The Packers run defense has been the best in the NFL this season. Subsequently, this game will feature the No. 1 ranked defense against the Cowboys No. 1 rushing offense. Which will give on Sunday?

This game will be broadcast on FOX, with live streaming available through NFL Sunday Ticket and Sunday Ticket TV. Access the stream with a paid subscription either online or through the app.

Though the two teams will most likely decide the game in the trenches with the previously mentioned run offense vs. run defense, don’t forget the Cowboys like to get off to a fast start. If they can do that, they will be tough to beat. The Packers are the favorites going into this game, so keep an eye on Rodgers coming off a bye. It is safe to say he should be more consistent with his passes this week, meaning his offense will be better too.
